Mrs Rebecca Ryan
Mrs Ryan began teaching at CWPS in 2009, the same year our Year 6 students began at CWPS in Kindergarten! It’s no secret that Mrs Ryan is absolutely crazy about Mathematics. In fact, she’s been known to tell her students that she loves Mathematics more than chocolate…and she likes chocolate, a LOT! But what you might not know is that her favourite subject at Primary School was Science and at High School it was History. When she’s not at school you will find Mrs Ryan spending time with her family- her husband, 9 year old daughter, 7 year old son and Dora her pet dog. She also likes to listen to Australian Hip Hop music, go on bike rides with her family and relax reading a good fiction novel. |
Mrs Kasey O'Brien
This year Mrs O'Brien is about to begin her 26 year teaching at our fabulous school Cabramatta West! During all of those years she has taught in many various roles across K-6. She always delights in teaching the wonderful students that make up the Cabramatta West school community. For 5 years Mrs O'Brien has travelled to China in the Christmas Holidays and taught at a lovely school in the Ming Hang District in Shang Hai. Although it was very, very cold the students and teachers at Rixin Experimental School made it such a fun time. The coldest temperature was -26 degrees, way, way, up North in Harbin at the Winter Ice Festival. Outside of school Mrs O'Brien enjoys spending time with her family - her husband and her 2 children, Brittany who is 22 and Mitchell who is 20. Together they love to go boating and to the beach where she loves to take her 3 Border Collie dogs for walks along the sand. She also is an avid reader and loves reading good crime novels, autobiographies and travel guides and is always, always researching wonderful places in the world to visit. Mrs O'Brien loves to travel and her most favourite places are the truly magical city of Beijing, China and the beautiful islands of Hawaii. Mrs O'Brien is especially looking forward to working with Year 6 students and their families this year. Goooo Year 6 ROCCs!!!! |
Mr Marwan Chuna
Mr Chuna has been working at Cabramatta West Public School Since 2012. Before becoming a teacher, he was a manager at Coles supermarket for seven years. His kids were the reason and motivation behind his decision to become a teacher. He left his former work as a manger and went back to university to continue his studies. Mr Chuna loves his new work, TEACHING! And watching the new generation of students grow with knowledge and wisdom. Beside his love for teaching, he also loves to spend time with his family. Mr Chuna is an outgoing person. He enjoys traveling and long walks, especially when he visits the Blue Mountains. His favourite sport is soccer……. He likes playing soccer, watching soccer, coaching soccer and hearing about soccer. SOCCER! SOCCER! SOCCER! Oi, Oi, Oi and the word is… he is crazy about fishing (not that he has caught any fish lately). Mr Chuna’s personal philosophy is that failure is not a reality for the determined, because the difference between the possible and the impossible is the person’s determination, commitment and perseverance.
